Technical Description

The BMT65 tool holder is widely used by many equipment manufacturers, especially for standard OD machining of parts, which can be classified into two types:

Radial: This classic type of BMT tool holders features a slot for the shank positioned perpendicular to the rotation axis of the workpiece.
Axial or BMT facing tool holder: Here, the slot for the tool is positioned parallel to the rotation axis, allowing for efficient groove machining.

The 128-31802 belongs to the second type and allows machining with any tool featuring a 25mm x 25mm square shank.
